SNAFAM is the French National Professional Union of the Gunsmith Industry. It represents all companies within the sector, ranging from B2B players (manufacturers, importers-distributors, and service providers) to craft gunsmiths and retail gunsmiths.
SNAFAM’s activities consist of supporting its member companies and providing them with information regarding legislative or regulatory developments that directly impact their professions.
As the representative organization for the profession, SNAFAM defends the interests of its members and represents them before Public Authorities.
BEDEX - 1st Edition (2026)
🤝The experts at DefenseWise are proud to have hosted an 'Export Control Escape Game' animation in collaboration with BEDEX during the first edition of this exhibition, which took place in Brussels from March 12 to 14, 2026.
At the heart of the European institutions and NATO, BEDEX is the must-attend event for the Belgian and European defense industry. Bringing together 300 exhibitors and over 35 international delegations, it serves as the premier gateway to our strategic ecosystem.


WorldECR / Dow Jones
🤝 The experts at DefenseWise are proud to contribute to WorldECR / Dow Jones publications and to be listed in their directory of experts.
Published 10 times a year, the "Journal of Export Controls and Sanctions - WorldECR" focuses on export controls, economic sanctions, and related national security and trade issues. It offers news, commentary, and analysis on key developments and trends in trade compliance, as well as the regulatory shifts that matter most to your organization.
The journal "Export Compliance Manager" (ECM) focuses on the practical aspects of trade compliance. Where WorldECR provides the 'why' and the legal theory, ECM provides the 'how', helping managers implement robust compliance frameworks on the ground.

DIANA NATO / IGNITY
🤝 The experts at DefenseWise are proud to be part of the Legal Coaches/Mentors for the DIANA initiative, helping to raise awareness among startups in the IGNITY incubator about the regulatory challenges of Export Control.
DIANA is the Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic, an organisation established by NATO to find and accelerate innovation to provide defence and security effects for the Alliance.
NATO DIANA provides companies with the resources, networks and guidance to develop cutting-edge technologies to solve critical defence and security challenges, while also supporting their adoption.
NATO DIANA works with 16 accelerator sites across the Alliance to deliver world-class training, networking and testing opportunities.
Among these acceleration sites is the 'IGNITY' incubator located in Belgium. In 2020, IGNITY ranked in the world's top 10 and Europe's top 3 for technology incubators.
